Over the last years, Fabbrica del Vapore has sent a cohesive and strong message among the “Fuori Salone” proposals offered by the Municipality of Milan during the Salone week: its ongoing growing overturn is due to its creative process, which explores the nexus between design and social, economic, political and ecological issues. Their growing interest must be taken into account by anyone dealing with culture.
On the 49th Salone Internazionale del Mobile, FDVLAB, in partnership with the magazine Ottagono is giving life to the event “Posti di vista – Green Block” (Places of view – Green Block): Fabbrica del Vapore is taking into an ongoing growing account issues like Sustainability, Eco-friendliness, Short production and distribution Line, Energy Efficiency, Urban Green Planning and Networks.
The importance of the issues dealt with and of the engagement shown by its promoters in developing the project has led the Municipality of Milan to be the main sponsor of the event; the aim is to start a collaboration over the next years by organizing other similar projects, Milan being the host of the Expo 2015.
