Some years ago, Gabriella Sacchi, a ceramist and a collectionist of ceramic objects, was taken in a photograph while sitting among manufactured articles
The pictures were commented on in a sort of journal of the ceramist/traveller printed on each of them.
The pictures were later reproduced on stoneware slabs using a serigraphic process.
In 2009 the project became more ambitious: in “Diario pubblico” 64 people taken with a ceramic object they like, tell us about themselves.
The effect of the completed installation is a narration referring to multi-level relationships: relationships among people and objects, between the individual and community,
between man and the passing of time.
The result is the creation of a transversal language in which our attention does not concentrate so much on different artistic genres and techniques, as on a completely new way of interpreting and defining reality.
