Concept Event HONEY-WAY
Officinanove, in occasion of the “Innovation/Imagination 2010” event in Milan, organises an installation to present the new 2010 products.
Prestigious location: the new FACE TO SUPERSTUDIO PIU' area in via Tortona 54, Milan.
The installation is called HONEY-WAY, name taken from the high-profile product that will be presented in all its inflections during the show.
HONEY-WAY is a fitted container element, with and without doors, characterised by a hexagonal shape, like the cell of a bee, designed by Bedini, Raco and Settimelli from Design company, IS In And Out Space.
From here, Arch. Daniele Bedini, designer of Honey-Way, thought of a presentation/installation based on the “world” of Bees and of Honey.
The entire installation is focused on the central “honeycomb”, hung to the ceiling, made of hundreds of HONEY-WAY elements, in shades from yellow to orange, (example of the 190 colours with which Officinanove produces its pieces).
The installation is completed with seats and tables, again rigorously hexagonal, from the HONEY-WAY collection, with ROW seats, extendable bench designed by Paolo Ulian, with the particular and elegant furnishing object ELIO, designed by Marco Ferreri, with the new clothes-hanger TUBOOM, designed by Giulio Iacchetti and a cute bottle rack SIXGUN, designed by Diplomat Design (Ashley Hall and Matthew Kavanagh) from London.
Two small table prototypes by Lorenzo Damiani will also be presented.
The general visual impact is impressive and exciting; the participation of the public to the theme is even more emphasised by the presence of sounds and lights that recall the world of Bees and of nature.
All pieces are rigorously yellow and black, to respect the theme.
The installation will also be enriched by the participation of PIAGGIO, present with two APE vehicles inside and one APE Calessino outside, that will indicate the “honey road”, leading visitors to Officinanove, and MIELI THUN that will organise evenings where honey will be the main element of the event. Emotional and futuristic sound by “Audio design by Architettura Sonora, a division of B&C Speakers” and particular light games by “Altraluce International ”.
