The 2010 Collection…
…. expresses all the pictorial force of its graphic design with embroidery and prints.
Silk and linen are embroidered with textural yarns and the graphic design is pictorial. Its design emerges forcefully from colour and embroidered relief effects. The colours of these silks are vivid and iridescent. Linens are played out in natural hues with surprising splashes of indigo blue and chocolate, or gold and silver treated with the delicacy of filigree.
Bukara, Flourish, Casablanca, Circles, Arabesque
The artfully executed technique of digital printing traces impacting and variegated brushstrokes of colour. The chosen patterns of ethnic derivation, an uneven linen ground and a daring colour palette combine to accentuate the artistic vocation of these fabrics.

… elaborates a pattern and then proceeds to break it down into light, matter and refined abstraction. Jacquard fabrics combine natural rustic-looking jaspe yarns with metallic yarns touched by the sober luminosity of filigree, they weave full-handed silk satins with bulky linen yarns and decompose the pattern grain in the same way as a photo enlargement. Chromatic effects are achieved by means of light: black, white, gold and silver. Just two notes of colour: deep blue and sunset red.
Orocolato, Echo, Anish
A meticulously executed plisse treatment transforms ethereal sheers into densely pleated micro-plisse fabrics, which can be admired for their relief effects, the interplay of light expressed in two colours and their amazing valance selvedge. Tuxedo satin is also plisse-treated with sophisticated undulated relief effects and densely packed little pleats, full and soft to the touch. The search for beauty and function has led to a discovery: these refined plisse fabrics are fire-retardant and washable in water.
Origami, Please, Swing, Metropole
… mingles technological materials with rediscovered traditional manufacturing processes, and subjects linen to innovative treatments:
technical research, poised between tradition and innovation, is focused on pleasing eye and hand. The new technical weaves, deriving from a barrel-dyeing technique traditionally used for leather, present deep, heavily shaded colours; they are as soft and pliable as plaited leather but have all the qualities of resistance, ease of application and performance so typical of technological fabrics.
Grand Chevron, Grand Panama, Panama, Petit Barré, Unito
Linen - lightweight sheer, chevron or stripe - becomes surprisingly soft and airy. Treated with an innovative hot-air blowing process, linen becomes as soft as cashmere.
Isis, Nilos, Zephyr
… confirms the contemporary appeal of the great classical plains, by rediscovering faille and satin in lavish, joyful colour palettes and treating these yarns with extra care so that they may be soft, versatile and hard-wearing.
