Two exhibitions, two artists, two visions …two emotions.
object design interpreted by the creative eye of Alberto Lagomaggiore and
city objects highlighted by Luigi Billi with monochromatic strokes of red.
Like design, photography is a form of art and like design, often photography is used in a public or private space to create harmony and tuning, between functionality and shape, to bring near people to the art beauty, to offer us a different perspective.
During the week of the “Salone del Mobile”, in occasion of the Fuorisalone SPAZIOFARINI6 presents the exhibition “Objects | Sculture | Visions” with works of Alberto Lagomaggiore and Luigi Billi.
Lagomaggiore is an architecture and design photographer from 1992. Here, he presents his “creative” vision of design, sometimes colourful, sometimes black and white.
The collection consists of a series of images of the best well-known italian designer objects characteriszed by a very dinamic spatial geometry. Objects that fill spaces in our houses. Design objects revisited from a photographic eye to create an art work from an other art work.
Luigi Billi is an artist and painter who works with photography in Italy and abroad. He presents some of the images of the series “Le ermeneutiche” (2009-2010).
Also here the images seems like visions, creative interpretations, almost dreams, but the photographer shoots city objects, such as sculptures that become the tridimensional rapresentation of a common cultural identity, useful for centurie sto mantein social cohesion. He start from b/w photographies and he underlines the images with red nuance monochrome signes. Works are physically scrunched up and than reopened, manteining a sense of ambiguità: between refuse and recover.
