During the Milan Design Week Rubinia Gioielli invites you to see yourself reflected in a frame made up of precious stones, pearls, and music.
After its
Gioielli and
Oggetti secondo natura Rubinia presents its original collection of mirrors, rethinking them with the emphasis on the precious. Rubinia’s mirrors, all of them strictly hand-crafted and made as one-off pieces specially for the Salone del Mobile,
the Milan furniture exhibition, are made up of gemstones, pearls, mother-of-pearl and shells, and can all be personalised according to customers’ colour requirements.
On the 16
th of April from 4.00 to 6.30pm Rubinia’s store at Via Vincenzo Monti 26 will be transformed into a magical frame of poetry, music and imagination. Paola Ferraro, who created all of the mirrors personally, will be there to show their preciousness and the unique energy that they exude. An essential item in any home, the mirror reflects not only appearances but also the personality and the soul of whoever observes himself or herself in it,
lighting up every room and whoever lives in them.
Martina Scandola’s cello and Francesca Politi’s harp will enliven this communion of creativity and preciousness with a concert that includes a performance of J.S. Bach’s ‘Suite’ for cello, Gabriel Urbain
Fauré’s ‘Sicilienne’ for cello and harp and Camille Saint-Saens’s ‘Le Cigne’ (The Swan) for cello and harp. The music, delighting all of the senses, will take the audience on a journey which reflects its powerful harmony in the mirrors.
Mirror-jewellery, music and creativity making for an afternoon to remember. Rubinia Gioielli: art that shines and makes everything shine with
its precious uniqueness.
