As part of That’s Design! the Politecnico di Milano Design System, together with 2357®, presents:
That’s Poli. 2357® ways of creating, a re-creative space that introduces Fashion Design at the Milan Polytechnic and presents the design experiences of students, new graduates and young researchers of the Design Faculty.

With 2357®, a Milanese “quality” basic clothing brand, students, new graduates and young researchers present the various stages of the design and development of a fashion product.

During the week, the space will be animated by a variety of design activities.

Every day, from the early afternoon, there will be a Creative Workshop where, beginning from the collar, an archetypical constructive detail in men’s and women’s clothing, students will create small fabric artifacts: iconic objects that narrate the “polytechnical” approach to design, which will be gifts for visitors.

In addition, in accordance with an ad hoc calendar, actual Design Work Sessions will be held, where in live performances, new graduates will interpret  basic clothing classics – t-shirts and fleeces – demonstrating the design and development process as it unfolds: from the paper model to the development of graphics to product prototyping and packaging.
There will be three design sessions: the first, organized by POLIMI, will be about re-designing the paper pattern, T-shirt and fleece and making up prototypes; the second, coordinated by PHARMACY INDUSTRY, involves graphic design and printing the previously made garments; the last, organized by POLIMI and PHARMACY INDUSTRY, is when packing for the garments will be designed and made.
