The furniture design exhibition "Apulia Italian Excellence - the Art of Design from Tradition to Innovation" explores how tradition combines with innovation, through an innovative design project, presented in a creative and evocative environment.
Organized by the Apulia Regional Government - Economic Development, Employment and Innovation Policy Department, and promoted by Sprint Puglia, in collaboration with Unioncamere Puglia, the exhibition presents an innovative and technological format, based on audiovisual media, which takes the visitor on a virtual journey into the world of creativity in furniture design from Apulia and promises an interesting and evocative trip.
The exhibition retraces the creativity of Apulian companies in the home-furnishings industry by using advanced technologies in a futuristic and amazing, hypnotic and pleasant set, offering a cultural and sensory experience.
Small and medium-size Apulian companies present a virtual showcase of a wide range of top quality products, which bring together traditional furniture-making and handicraft skills with innovative design, highlighting the relationship between the creation of an excellent product and the culture and territory of origin.
At the same time, design ideas won't be presented as definitive elements, but rather a sequence of subsequent ideas: a moment of innovation that is already a future tradition for the innovators to come.
The multimedia representation of the products takes inspiration from a region rich in those elements and materials, which combined with the creative idea, become design objects: dream that turns into reality.
