Tuesday April 21st “WITHOUT CONFINES, INHABITING A DREAM.” (SENZA CONFINI, IL SOGNO ABITATO.) Experimental project for wooden habitation by Angelo Micheli aMDL Opening Cocktail at 6:30pm Superstudio - Via Tortona, 27 - Milano The installation will remain open from April 21st til April 27th., from 9am til 7pm “Senza Confini” (Without Confines) is an experimental project for a new type of dwelling space in wood. The idea is to go beyond typological limits – wooden house – by means of a concept of sustainable resources that is in dialogue with the traditions of Italian luxury. The study of the lighting is done with great care and valorizes every detail; the rare and precious ones like textiles as well as the simpler and even silent ones like the green of nature and details of construction. Light gives even minimal elements a fundamental importance within a project that reconsiders the centralty of man – his need for harmony beauty and individuality – and projects these within a renewed perspective of sustainable resources achieved by the removal of the simplistic criteria of renunciation. A decisive role is given to simple and eccological materials -wood, vegetation elements – for their coherence with environmental criteria and for their own unexplored expressions of decorative style.
