A Classe Alviero Martini presents “House of Class: suggestions of the Geo Map” the new furniture line created by Dramstudio (
www.dramstudio.it), designer of numerous boutiques and showrooms. After many travels around the world with the Geo maps 1
A Classe now conduces us to a journey of the private-house world through elements of design, sofas, armchairs and a bed: rigorous articles with a flavour in between classic and contemporary; the metropolitan luxury of the characteristic materials of the maison and exotic sophisticated accents such as the belts in printed crocodile that restrain soft cushions and shiny polished African ebony.
The sofa, deep and comfortable, and the armchairs with a clean geometry obtained from a cube by able subtractions recall the Decò habitats of the beginning of the century.
The bed has a more contemporary mark, likewise in ebony possesses a significant headboard in wooden boxes casually overlapped and held together by a long printed crocodile belt: like a cargo ready to be shipped on the next steamboat. The headboard also carries out the role of the bedside table and bookshelf and can be furnished with integrated lights in the frame of the wooden boxes. A ledge can be added at the foot of the bed and on the entire width of it, functioning also as a writing board.
The recurring theme of this set of furniture is the leather belts that recall the trunk fastener typical of the refined travellers of the beginning of the century: a tea in the desert in a metropolitan loft.
