In occasion of MiArt week and the Fuori Salone del Mobile, Wunderkammer Studio in collaboration with Liuba and STRAFhotel&bar present the exhibition  "a stage for time: eulogy to the slow ". The venue will be in the prestigious hall of the STRAFhotel&bar di Milano, where design, art, essence and research coexist. The single installation combines WUNDERKAMMER STUDIO creations, signed by Claudia and Mattia Frignani designers and owners of the prestige brand name, together with the video works of LIUBA, internationally renowned artist.

Wunderkammer Studio with an emotional approach to the design, propose creations with sinuous lines, sometimes made with materials and techniques of ancient craftsmanship, together with technology and research of new materials, creating pieces with a unique decor, with an organic design that matches the world of art and sculpture.

The "Stage Time: eulogy to the slow" toghether with the work of contemporary artist Liuba, recreates a dreamlike, meditative dimension, where it evokes the slow passing of time.
The pieces created by Claudia and Mattia Frignani far from the serial production mentality and created specially for the exhibition, create a timeless scenario, where time has stopped, after having run on the surface of things, leaving its mark.

An armchair, warm and solid, hand made of iron rods, bent and welded one by one, polished and aged, create a space for contemplation, where we stop to wander in the memory or dream.
An impressive table, in harmony with the other pieces, dominates the scene. The legs of iron, sculptured perhaps by the sea god's sustain it’s leather surface, imperfect and consumed by time.

A library in iron sheet, filled with old yellowed paper, accumulated over the years, the guardians of forgotten thoughts.

A dummy, wearing ornaments of past and fantastic.
It is a provocative invitation to find, in the contemporary alienating everyday life, a space for contemplation and for ourselves. The scenery is made up of unique pieces in addition to others of limited editions in the era of serial productivity. The video installation by Liuba, part of a big project of the artist on slowness  takes place in different cities around the world and challenge the metropolitan frenzy with a slap to common sense: slow as a metaphor, as a dialectic between personal time and social time, between being and having to be, between acting and reacting.
