‘Get Green’
Fashion and design at the Fuori Salone del Mobile events
Sportmax, the line that anticipates and epitomises the main fashion aspects of the Gruppo MaxMara together with Bodum, a Danish company specialised in the production of design objects for the home and kitchen, present the ‘Get Green’ exhibition inside the Sportmax Store, Via della Spiga 30, from 22 to 27 April during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2009 (International Furniture Fair).
The ‘Grow a green Thumb’ collection of flowerpots will be shown at the ‘Get Green’ exhibition comprising nine porcelain stoneware flowerpots in different sizes and shapes, including cylindrical, conical and square ones, that create a lively and playful dialogue with the ‘green thinking’ onlooker. A characteristic trait of this collection is the presence of functional rubber flowerpot saucers with a modern and minimal design.
Bodum’s design is represented by unmistakable shapes, linearity and style. The collections are elegant and rational and represent a true lifestyle. ‘Get Green’ underlines Bodum’s philosophy: “good design must be accessible to everyone”.
Sportmax was created at the end of the Sixties, influenced by the Swinging London scene and by the eclectic and innovative spirit of those years. It is a collection for young women who love to dress in a creative and feminine way. The philosophy of the collection has led to the choice of becoming, year after year, an unfailing presence at the lively Fuori Salone events.
