In the showroom at Via Durini 15 Porro are reconstructing their history, showing how design has always belonged to their DNA, from the foundation in Brianza in 1925, to the work with Munari - who designed the company logo in 1966 -, to the art direction entrusted to Piero Lissoni in 1989.
A stream of consciousness where past, present and future follow in a continuous thread, and where prototypes, studies, industrial products and limited editions are freely mixed, to show that every project has always been handled with the same passion and devotion, the same maniacal attention to detail that makes the rigorous and neat style of the company identifiable at first glance.
Renowned projects, such as the Cubovo trolley made of wood and glass designed by Bruno Munari, from 1995, reworked for this occasion, alongside the more representative contemporary products, to the pieces from the Material House collection. A niche offer, furnishings items numbered and made patiently by hand, one by one, placing Porro one step ahead of the other companies, thanks to their capacity to offer something more to the more attentive and sensitive consumers: a hand crafted object, studio designed, precious on account of its uniqueness.
