GAS WILL BE HOME TO FUORISALONE
The GAS showroom at Superstudiopiù, number 27 Via Tortona, will be transformed into a highly creative container to coincide with the 2008 Fuorisalone (16-21 April), the series of exciting events that take place in Milan during the International Furniture Show week
The link between GAS and the Fuorisalone is part of the GAS4ARTS programme, which the brand uses to promote its status as a cultural and social force and to give room and a voice to creativity. GAS4ARTS provides an innovative point of view and is able to unite the strength and size of an international brand with the young, dynamic side of creativity, which often lacks a place to be seen and heard. It is a solid and consistent travelling project that indicates the will of the company to take an active role in the cultural scene in the various cities and situations it encounters.
The GAS space, which will be specially fitted and open to the public for the duration of the exhibition, will house four different installations.
THE FUORISALONE HOME
100 reporters will wear GAS garments and walk the streets of Milan throughout the period of the exhibition in order to capture its most meaningful moments on camera. A special area will be set up with internet points and screens showing the images recorded by the reporters in a continuous loop.
