The theme of the exposition shows the future possibilities of the use of natural materials in everyday life, so that Toshiyuki Kita turned his attention to wood, using the trunk of Criptomeria Japonica, which grows in Kitayama mountains nearby Tokyo and is used since hundreds of years inside Japanese houses. Combining its eccelent natural qualities with aluminium, a totally recyclable material, Kita created a chair perfectly suitable to the contemporary life style.
