For the 47° Salone Internazionale del Mobile, FDVLAB with the support of the Settore Sport e Tempo Libero  city council member Giovanni Terzi, will realize 14 design events interpreted and expressed through the language of different disciplines: architecture, design, photography, multimedia, video, dance and contemporary art.

This year Posti di Vista 08, now in its fifth edition, underlines the connecting role that the Fabbrica del Vapore laboratories play between the world of training and the world of work, in terms of experimentation and avant-garde applied to various sectors.

Fifth edition of a project to which the City Council is particularly connected - says the city council member Giovanni Terzi - because it enhances young creativity in the context of a meeting that may be at the same time a comparison of ideas. Installations, paths and exhibitions can easily create a contact between the city and a reality - that
of the Fabbrica del Vapore - that constantly works for young people.

From the 16th to 21st of April 2008, the Fabbrica, between via Procaccini and via Luigi Nono, will be the place of encounter and confrontation between different training methods: Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera (Milan), ECAL - Ecole Cantonale D'Art De Lausanne (Swissland), Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino, SAIC - School of the Art Institute of Chicago (Illinois, United States), UNICAM Università degli Studi di Camerino, UNINA Università degli Studi di Napoli, Università degli Studi di Palermo, Università IUAV di Venezia, Accademia della Comunicazione (Milan), IED - Istituto Europeo del Design (Milan), ISIA - Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche di Firenze, NABA - Nuova accademia di Belle Arti Milano, SPD - Scuola Politecnica di Design (Milan), Istituto superiore ITSOS Albe Steiner (Milan), Scuola Media Inferiore Collodi di San Vito Al Tagliamento, De Amicis di Ostuni, Hinnerhofer di Merano, Scuola Elementare Guillermoz di San Cristophe, Montessori di Milano, Pini di Milano, 25 Aprile di Sesto San Giovanni, creating an interesting exchange of ideas and project interpretations.

Posti di Vista 08, also this year involves Best Up , the circuit of sustainable living, that at the Fabbrica del Vapore promotes the campaign +LCD-CO2: a che punto sei?, developed in collaboration with Italian design schools.
