For the Salone del Mobile 2008, Bisazza presents an exclusive installation that hosts an ensemble of furniture and accessories for interiors enriched with mosaic tiles designed by Andrée Putman and Jaime Hayon at Superstudio Più.
The Bisazza space will consist of two distinctive atmospheres expressing the differing styles of these two celebrated designers.
Andrée Putman, the celebrated Dame of Design, has created a furniture and home accessories collection that typifies her refined, elegant and unique style. Playing with the chromatic contrast between black and white Putman’s installation is highly evocative, and provides the perfect setting for her collection for Bisazza. The fusion of these two colours, a key component of the “Putman Style”, becomes the fil rouge of this installation.
A completely different feel is created in the space dedicated to Jaime Hayon. The Spanish designer continues his collaboration with Bisazza expressing his unsurpassed ability to surprise as he presents a “self-indulgent” approach in using mosaic.
The new furnishing solutions designed by Andrée Putman and Jaime Hayon confirm once again, Bisazza’s commitment to working with designers of international reputation to reinterpret mosaic for a modern design conscious audience.
